In science we will be working on an Endangered species project. Students will be applying the concepts from Chapter 3 to their project, and creating a presentation that describes the impact that humans have had on their animals, and what we can do to help these animals. | Math with Mrs. BangeWhen students return from Thanksgiving Break, they will be taking the iReady assessment. Students will take the iReady on Monday-Thursday. Please be sure students bring their laptop fully charged with headphones. On Friday, students will take notes on converting between fractions and decimals. After that, we’ll be looking at religions and languages within Europe, and examining the different groups of people and cultures within Europe. Finally, we’ll look at the different ethnic groups that live in Europe. For example, even within the United Kingdom, there are several different ethnic groups with unique languages, traditions, and cultures, including the Irish, Scots, Welsh, and English. |

Language Arts with Ms. Griem
Language Arts will be starting a new short story, “The Lottery” by Shirley Jackson. We will be focusing on plot, and answering our EQ: “What are the effects of irrational thinking?”
