Deep Thoughts by Mr. Koder
A Weekly Update
Goals for the remainder of the year
But here we are. All of that testing (simualtions) is about to give us some great data. Data on which students are making progress and which students need a little more love. Data on which students need to be pulled into tutoring and which students need some extra attention during Star Time.
As we sift through that data, I want every team to be very intentional with developing goals for the remainder of the school year. Please think through the lens that I set out at the beginning of the school year with increasing our approaches friends to meets and our meets friends to masters. As we consider our students and our goals, I want us to also consider what strategies we plan to use to accomplish those goals.
Again, I know that February is tough. But when we get into May and we look back at the work that we put in during this tough time of year, I know that we will all be very glad that we took the time to develop classroom strategies to accomplish the goals that we set out to achieve.

Fire Drill procedures - we have some district contractors here doing work on our campus and they made it a point to stop in to say that they have never seen an elementary fire drill so orderly. Great job!
