Vaping Isn't Pretty
September 13, 2019
Please be aware that vaping and vape products are illegal on school property by students and adults. Additionally, vaporizers in any form are considered drug paraphernalia in our student Code of Conduct. Students found in possession or using drugs, alcohol, vaporizers or cigarettes will face suspension and may be referred to the Superintendent for a hearing to consider a long term suspension. Loss of classtime, serious long term health impact, lifetime addiction to nicotine...get rid of the vapes. They're not worth it!
As parents, be aware of what your child is doing, where they are going and who they are with. When you have that gut feeling that something is off or wrong, it probably is and you need to act. Webster schools have resources to help families so please call your school counselor to start the conversation about getting help.
Here is a recent news story about the surge in vaping related illnesses and deaths in America.
