Miss Maudie

Miss Maudie is a widow, who hated her house, and liked flowers. She had different opinions on all main characters like the children she was nice and generous to them. Evidence that supports my answer is "Miss Maudie benevolence extended to Jem and Dill whenever they paused in pursuit". Another piece of evidence that supports my answer is " Every time she baked she made a big cake and three little ones and she would call across the street". Miss Maudie is a nice and lovable person.
Harper Lee included Miss Maudie as a main character in the novella killing of a mockingbird
because she treats everyone equal. Usually adults don't treat kids equal but Miss Maudie does. Evidence that supports my answer is " She called us by all our names". Another piece of evidence that supports my answer is "Miss Maudie benevolence extended to Jem and Dill whenever in pursuit". Miss Maudie is very important in this novel and is a nice person. Without Miss Maudie the children would not be getting treated as equals.
