Why it started
As the French began to expand into the Ohio Valley, The French and British both argued over who had control over the control over the Ohio Valley. The British later declared war on the French. So it was The British/Colonies vs The French and Indians. At stake was fur trade and access to the Mississippi river.
Lasted from 1760-1763. This war was apart of the 7 Years War. The French and their allies, the native Americans fought the colonists and the British. The war ended in the treaty of Paris. The French were removed from North America and Britain claimed Canada and Ohio Valley. Because of the war the British placed tax laws on the colonies to pay for their debt.
