Newsletter Week 7 Term 1
Meeanee School 16th March, 2022
MESSAGE FROM THE SWIVELLY CHAIR
I have to say it once again, our community is amazing. This includes our wonderful staff at school. Last week was an interesting one with illness (non-Covid), people having to isolate, and other reasons people had to stay away from school. Thank you to the community who is still keeping students home if they are unsure. It has helped us out immensely. Our wonderful staff has stepped up to the mark and picked up extra responsibility when adults have been away from school. I cannot thank them enough for being such an amazing team. I truly believe we are very lucky to have the staff we do at Meeanee School.
Your children bring a smile to my face each and every day. A cheery hello in the morning, a conversation during breaktimes, a catch up about their weekend or seeing their amazing work when they are sent to me. At the end of the day their beaming smiles when they see their mum, dad, aunty, grandma, grandad etc.. is fabulous.
It has come to my attention that a lot of our older students are using a range of Social Media platforms. As a parent/caregiver please make sure you know what your child is getting up to on these platforms. You may be surprised.
Be Kind, Stay Safe,
Damion
