River Bluff's Core Values (HOS): Personal Responsibility, Growth Mindset, Collaboration and Relationships, Excellence, & Citizenship

Gators of the Week - Work hard. Get smart. Do good.

Gators of the Week: Varsity Men's Basketball and Wrestling Secure 1st Region Wins

Work hard. River Bluff's Varsity Men's Basketball and Wrestling shine in region openers vs. Dutch Fork. While Wrestling won handily, the Varsity Men's went to the wire with two free throws to seal the win 62-60. More region matches this week.

Gators of the Week: German and French Students Learn from Experts

Get smart: German and French students interested in international business/relations attended a presentation about the BENELUX Union (Belgium-Netherlands-Luxemburg) sponsored by the Columbia World Affairs Council. William De Baets, Consul General of Belgium; and Dr. Marc van Essen, USC Darla Moore School of Business presented about the Benelux Union and how it has impacted the European Union, as well as the three countries' relationships with Germany and France. It was very informative and a great introduction to International Relations for our students.

Gators of the Week: Ella Stuff a Stocking Serves Local Community

Do good. Ella Stuff a Stocking was again a fantastic example of all Gators coming together to do good. Over 135 children were adopted and honored during the holiday season.

One grandmother commented "I wanted to let you all know how much you made my grand babies Christmas so special. You are all a blessing and without you, they would not have had a Christmas. May God bless you all and again thank you from the bottom of my heart".

Signing Out Procedures

A reminder to parents regarding signing students out during the school day. Someone from the student's sign out sheet must come in and show ID to dismiss a child. We do not accept phone calls or emails for dismissal. You can come in on Monday to sign your child out during the week but only up until Friday of the same week. Also, if you are dismissing your child during ILT, then it is helpful to have made arrangements with the student ahead of time. We appreciate your help to assist in making this process efficient.

Counseling and Advisement Assignments for Students

Counseling and Advisement Team

The Counseling & Advisement team is working towards a more intentionally focused program to provide students with the best support. Rather than counselors having students in all grade levels (9-12), we are realigning to be able to more appropriately serve students’ transitional needs at the different levels. This realignment will also more closely mirror our CREW design allowing students to stay with their school counselor their 9th and 10th grade years and then have another counselor their 11th and 12th grade years.
