Teacher Highlight of the Month!
Strategies & Best Practices
This month's featured best practice is math-related. I had the pleasure & opportunity to take Jo Baeler's course "How to Learn Maths" through Stanford online, and have since found that most of the content of that course is available on youtube. What a wonderful discovery! This course was truly eye-opening to me. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in growing their math instruction skills, or anyone interested in learning more about growth mindset.
I have included a video clip below, and a website with some pointers and resources for holding Number Talks. Feel free to check it out if you teach math.
