6th Grade Band:
Students are taking their first playing quiz this week. These quizzes are to be done at home if at all possible. The students set up Google Sites which will be used as digital portfolios to track their progress from 6th grade all the way until 12th grade. If the students need a refresher on how to record and submit their quiz, or how to make a website if it somehow got deleted, there is a YouTube video of how to make the site on Google Classroom.
Students should be practicing at home as much as possible. We are going to start preparing for our Winter Concert which will take place on Tuesday, December 19. The concert will be split into two parts and more information will come out as it becomes available as far as times are concerned.
The dress for the December concert is the same at it was for the concert last week. Concert black and white. Please make arrangements so your child has clothes that meet the expected dress. If you have any problems getting these clothes please feel free to get in contact with me and I will help you!
Cherry dale orders will be delivered on November 16. If your child sold a lot of Cherry dale merchandise please make plans to come to the middle school after school and pick up their orders in the cafeteria.

Items currently needed for the store are:
Any age appropriate toys, DVD's for the holidays.
As we gear up for winter: Hats, gloves, scarves, and coats.
Snack items: Slim jims, and pop tarts.
Other needs are ear buds and water bottles.
We will be gearing up for the holiday season so baskets to make gift packages for students to purchase would be great.
All other items are appreciated as well.
