Library Newsletter

Oasis Academy Brightstowe - September 2014

Welcome!

Welcome to our first ever Library Newsletter! Every month, we'll be updating you on everything that's been going on in the Library and will also be letting you know what fantastic things will be happening in the future...

Calling all Poets..!

It is National Poetry Day on Thursday 2nd October and to celebrate, the Library is launching its own poetry competition open to every student in the school. To enter you simply either have to hand the poem you have written into the Library or email it to Kathryn.gardner-graham@oasisbrightstowe.org . Your poems can be any length, on any subject matter - and they don't have to rhyme! If you love experimenting with words and are feeling a little creative, please have a go. The deadline for all entries is Wednesday 1st October - the winner will be announced on National Poetry Day and will receive a poetic prize. Don't be late and GOOD LUCK!
