7th Grade Requirements

Hi MMS families,

Just a reminder that 7th graders are required by the State of NC to have Tdap and Meningitis vaccines within the first 30 days of school starting. Also if you are NEW to MGSD you must have a Health Assessment completed by a Doctor. These must be completed by Sept 1, 2021, after that disciplinary actions can be taken.

Also if your student has any health concerns ( asthma, seizures, diabetes, food allergies, etc), please let me know. If they require any medication during school hours, (even if they carry their own Epi pens or inhalers) the appropriate forms must be completed and turned in.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I'll be happy to answer any questions or concerns. Elisabeth Turpin- School nurse or 704-658-2733

MMS 2021-22 Student Handbook

Mooresville Middle School will instill an appreciation and love for learning in our students as we help them develop the skills needed to become goal oriented, independent thinkers and leaders in an ever-changing global society. We challenge every student, every day, to discover and develop a positive sense of self, as well as to respect themselves and others through meaningful collaboration with peers, teachers, and parents.

Please read the 2021-22 MMS Student Handbook to ensure your student is aware of all school-wide expectations.
