Speech News

Welcome Back!

Speech and Language therapy is ready to begin! Thank you for being patient while I finished speech and hearing screenings last week. We are going to start services on Monday, August 28th. I will run through the schedule and make changes with the teachers if needed. You will receive and email from me sometime next week of your child's speech time. If you have any questions or concerns, please email or call me. I look forward to working with you and your child this year!

What's New in Speech

* I have a new office. My room is now located in the green hallway across from the restroom. My new phone extension is 1048.

*We will NOT have speech folders this year.

*We are a "speech family" so we are going to earn prizes together by filling up our jar with pompoms in the speech room. Students can fill the jar with a pompom for coming to speech and for doing any "extra" work at home.

*Homework Ideas will be sent through email/smores each month. If you print off homework and send it in, OR record yourself on your ipad doing the homework, then you can add a pompom to the jar!

Fun Facts about your SLP

* I am a wife and mom to 3 wonderful children (my daughter, Lucy, is in 1st grade here at BSE, Austin is 4 and Ella is 19 months)

* We have a border collie named Murphy

* We live in Fishers

* We enjoy playing outside, going to parks, and of course traveling!

* I have worked in HSE schools since 2005

* I graduated from Purdue University (2002) and completed my Masters work at Ball State University (2005).
