MUSIC NOTES
INSTRUMENT PETTING ZOO, APRIL 27, 4-4:30pm
Are you in 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade?
Have you always wanted to play an instrument in a band?
Or you aren’t sure which instrument you would like most?
Come to the music room on April 27th from 4-4:30pm. You will get a chance to try instruments yourself and see what best suits you!
Note for Parents: This is a great opportunity for your student to think about joining band next year. Information packets will have tips on how to decide what instrument is right for your student, information to get your student ready for band in the fall, and many other things, we hope you can make it!
Feel free to contact Mrs. Hardman at 892-9743 with any questions.
CONCERT SEASON IS FAST APPROACHING!
The Honor Band & Honor Choir students from Big Lake Elementary will be representing us on April 25th at the Districtwide Elementary Honors Music Festival at Palmer High School at 7pm. Come listen to some great music put together by our young musicians!
The K-2 Concert is May 2nd at 6pm. The 3-5 Concert is May 4th at 6pm. Please have your student come at 5:45pm and go to their grade level hallway. We look forward to seeing you there!
LIBRARY PAGES
LOST BOOKS
Please take some time to search for any missing library books at home! Any books from other schools can be turned in here and they will be sent to the correct school. It’s never too late to turn in missing books! Lost books may be replaced with any book of equal value (preferably hardback) that kids will want to read. Annabells Used Books is a great place to find replacements.
