A BIOGRAPHY BY jonathan AND JOEY ON ROBERT HOOKE
Robert Hooke
This inventor was born on July 18 ,1635 and died march 3, 1703. He also invented the spring control for the watch. He also invented the first reflecting telescope. Those two things made our lives much easier. He also first applied cells as the basic unit of life. This started the levels of organization(cells, tissue, organs , organ systems) that we know today.
When, where and why.
Hooke invented the spring control for the watch in about 1660. In 1665 he invented the first bestselling microscope and a book about his skills. He made these inventions in his lab in Freshwater, England. He did it for fame and wealth. He also did it to make new things that will be useful. Just like the watch and the telescope. If he did not invent that part to the watch that means we would probably not have the watch.
