Tumbleweed Times Week 1

News from Ranch 25 - August 28, 2015

Rootin' Tootin' Great First Week!

Our first week in Ranch 25 was busy and fun! We are spending our time getting to know each other, learning our way around the school from the first grade perspective, and working to create our routines. I am truly enjoying your children!

Back to School Night

I hope to see all of you at our Back to School Night on Wednesday, September 2 from 5:30-6:45. All parents should report to the stage area in the Media Center for some brief announcements from our principal, Mr. Frumovitz. Then, we will meet in the classroom, where I will give an overview of the curriculum, activities, expectations, and procedures for our big year in first grade. This event is for parents only. I hope to see you all there!

Tips for First Grade

  1. LABEL EVERYTHING! (jackets, backpacks, lunch boxes, etc.)
  2. Send a SMALL snack that is easy to open. There is only 5 minutes to eat it before recess begins.
  3. Please be consistent in your pick-up routine. If there are any changes to what you wrote on the "goldenrod" Dismissal Routine sheet, please email me or send me a note. Thanks!
