Dear Little Elba Lancer Families,

Wow, what a great beginning of the school year! UPK and Kindergarten Orientation, as well as Open House, were huge successes! Thank you for attending and spending time visiting classrooms and our building. We saw so many Little Lancers with smiles on their faces who were ready to be back. Our teachers worked very hard to get their classrooms and spaces prepared for our Little Lancers. And a big thank you to everyone who spent a lot of time getting our entire building ready for a new school year.

We had a great first week of school. K-6 students began on Tuesday, while our UPK students started on Thursday. Our students learned new routines and expectations, met new and old friends, and had a great week of learning. The rest of September will be busy with continuing our learning and Homecoming week. Be on the lookout for our Homecoming events!

Thank you for a great welcome and for making me feel part of the Lancer family. I am very blessed to have an opportunity to work with our amazing Lancer staff, students, parents, families, and the Elba community. As always, please reach out with any questions or concerns.

• UPK: 10:10am & 2:10pm

• Grades K & 1: 2:20pm

• Grades 2-6: 2:30pm

If your child will be absent from school or tardy, please contact the Health Office at 585-757-9967 ext. 1240. You can leave a message any time of day or night. A written excuse must be sent when the child returns from an absence.
