Think-a-Palooza 2
February 26th
It's that time of year again!
I am excited about organizing another day of fun for our students this year. To our kinder and new families, Think-a-Palooza is a day to celebrate creative thinking and problem solving in a flexible, fun environment. The activities will take place in the cafeteria and we welcome you to join your child. Each grade level will take part in two forty five minute activities. One will focus on creativity and the other will focus on engineering/problem solving.
We need your help to make it happen...
We will need some recyclables from your house to help us with some of the activities. We need the following items:
- small/medium cardboard boxes (cereal, oatmeal, shoe, crackers, popcorn, etc.)
- egg cartons (preferably paper)
- appropriate magazines
- boxes from hanging file folders, labels, etc.
- gift clothes boxes (shirt/pant size)
- newspaper
PLEASE MAKE SURE ANY FOOD CONTAINERS ARE CLEANED OUT AND HAVE NO FOOD STILL IN THEM.
DEsiGn your own Think-a-Palooza shirt!
To help kick off the celebration, I encourage students to create and wear a unique shirt that showcases their creative spirit. Simply take an old t-shirt and give it an overhaul with whatever materials you may have lying around the house:) Family fun.
Thank you for your support,
Stephanie Anderson
