Barnwell Elementary is welcoming the Class of 2022! Please join us on May 26, 1:45 in the Media Center at Barnwell to celebrate your graduation journey from the very beginning! Please feel free to share with Barnwell classmates who are still in the area and attend schools in surrounding counties or private schools.

Graduation Practice May 19th 6pm
Mandatory graduation practice will be held on Thursday, May 19th, at Ameris Wireless Amphitheater from 6 - 8pm. Seniors are asked to adhere to the school dress code (this includes no hats) and to not bring food or drinks to this event. Attendance at graduation practice is mandatory- Tickets for graduation will be handed out at practice.
Studnents will park and enter at the East Gates. Park in Lot A
Graduation May 22th 6pm
The ceremony is at 6:00 pm, Sunday May 22, 2022, at Ameris Amphitheater. The amphitheater is located at 2200 Encore Parkway Alpharetta, Ga 30009. Each graduate will receive eight (8) tickets to the event. Graduates will receive their tickets after meeting the requirements for graduation. Tickets will be distributed at the end of graduation practice. Everyone must have a ticket to enter the graduation ceremony, regardless the age. If you feel you need more tickets, ask friends who may not need all their tickets to share with you. Seating is general admission. Parking lots will open at 4:30pm and doors will open at 5:00pm for families and guests to enter Ameris amphitheater. Please make sure you allow AMPLE TIME to park and enter the venue. Parking and ticket lines become longer the closer to the start of the ceremony *Balloons are not allowed into the venue; please leave balloon arrangements in a car*
The graduates should arrive at Ameris Amphitheater at 5:00 pm with their caps, gowns, and regalia (if applicable) and proceed to the staging area behind the venue.
What to Wear**
Boys: dark slacks (long pants), white collared shirt, tie, and dark dress shoes
Girls: nice dress with dress shoes or sandals
*No hats, large jewelry, or sunglasses
*Please unpack and hang your gown a few weeks prior to the ceremony to reduce the number of wrinkles. While the use of wrinkle-reducing products is encouraged, ironing is not recommended.
