Martin Luther King was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta Georgia. Martin’s full name is Martin Luther King Jr. and his birth name was Michael King Jr. Martin is the middle child and he has a brother and a sister. Martin’s siblings are Willie Christine and Alfred Daniel Williams King. Martin’s grandfather was a minister and a priest in Atlanta as was his dad. His nicknames were ML, MLK, MLK JR. and his best friend was Ossie Davis. King’s parents were Martin Luther King Sr. and Alberta Williams. Dr. King’s education was at Morehouse College and Cozer. His first job was working as a baptist minister. Even when he was young was to fight for freedom.

Martin Luther King married Coretta Scott King in 1964. They had four children named Martin Luther III, Dexter Scott, Bernice King, and Yolanda King. One of Martin luther king jr.’s daughters was only three years old when her dad died.
