Hello SVDP Community,
Fall is coming in with rain, cooler weather, and thoughts of Halloween. Please read below regarding our Red Ribbon Week spirit days, Halloween festivities, and All Saints Day Mass.
The All Saints Day Mass is November 1st at 9:15. Parents / siblings are now invited to attend student Masses, as long as they are masked and sit in the back of the church.
Red Ribbon Week
The Red Ribbon Campaign at SVDP focuses on the health and wellness of school-age children. Our students will participate in Red Ribbon Week from October 25 - October 29. See activities below.

Count Me In Photo Shoot - November 6th Times Still Available!
Hopefully, you’ve marked your calendars for March 19, 2022, and plan to join us at August Hall for the return of Blazers & Baubles live and in-person! It will be an evening of fun, food, cocktails, friendship, and fundraising.
To kick-off the Blazers & Baubles spirit, Lindsay Lovier, SVDP mom and professional photographer is offering her own “Count Me In” auction item. Lindsay will photograph your family during a 15- minute photo session and provide you with the digital files for printing and creating your family Christmas card.
Sessions are $350 and your purchase goes directly to SVDP and Blazers & Baubles.
Interested in this opportunity to tackle the Christmas card and support Blazers & Baubles? Use the link below to sign up for one of the locations / time slots. You will be sent an invoice for $350 which can be paid by credit card and goes directly to SVDP.
PARENT GUILD NEWS
We are still collecting books and book reviews for Project Night Night. Use the link below for more information. Books can be handed to Mrs. Barkley or Mrs. Della Cella at morning assembly.
Stayed tuned for information on our November service project. Our students will be making Thanksgiving cards for St Peter’s families, our sister school in the mission, and for St Anne’s Retirement Home.
SVDP FAMILY REFERRAL PROGRAM
The Advisory Board and the Administration know that our amazing families are the best spokespeople for SVDP. To remain competitive in the San Francisco school marketplace, we must attract families that share our educational standards, values, and sense of community. For these reasons, the Advisory Board is pleased to announce a Family Referral Program.
Beginning July 1, 2021, if you recommend a family that accepts enrollment and pays all their fees, incidental charges, and tuition through October for the 2022-2023 school year, the Finance Committee will apply a $500 credit to your FACTS account in October 2022. You will get $500 for each successful referral, with a max of three referral credits. Only one SVDP family may claim a referral. The FACTS credit must be used towards tuition, not incidental charges. When a family applies, they should include the name of the referring family on their application. Online applications have been updated to include this information. The referring family does not need to write a letter of recommendation to receive the credit.
