William the conqueror formaly known as William the Bastard got his name William the Conqueror when he conquered England and became king. Born in 1027 and died in 1087 william the conqueror decendent of the vikings lived in england most of his life.William the conqueror was an amazing king and ruler to his people. He was not an all loving kind and gentle king to his people but he did not go around punishing his subjects like other rulers of his time. Because of his past William had a very tempermental attitude. But was very wise and skilled in the political arts.

William The Conqueror on October 1066 battled and defeated Harold King of England at the battle of the Hasteings. After this battle William was crowned king on Christmas day. " Life yields only to the Conqueror" William stated. He believed that to have supreme power and the only way to be given respect is to be king. And he was determined to gain that respect. As he did at the Battle Of The Hasteings.
Improtance
William made some very important decisions . Wich led him to become king of England. One of the major decisions that he made was to bring his army to meet Harolds after Harolds army had just went through a Viking invasion. This gave Williams army a greater advantae because they had had rest and Harolds army was well worn out. Great decisions like these made Harold the great king of England that he was. We should remeber him because he was one of the strongest leaders England has ever seen
King John

King John who was born in 1167 and died in 1216 was given the nickname John Lackland. He was given this nickname because Henry his father left no lang for him when he died. John lived throught the middle ages. John had a very violent character Just like his father. Somtimes his violent rages led him to foam at the mouth. John lived in his kingdom with his family of royalty.

King john was born on Chritmas eve into a royal family. John won his throne when Richard his brother was killed in France. In 1202, John's nephew, Arthur, was murdered. Many in Brittany believed that John was responsible for his murder and they rebelled against him. His rule starte off horrible because of the many subjects that believed he was a murderer.
Importance
King John is remebered for maeing the important dcision of sighning the magna carta. The Magna Carta set down rights which became part of English law and which are now the foundation of the constitution of all countries that speak English.
Joan Of Arc

Joan was called mid of Orleans. She lved in France most of her time and led the french army through all of teir victories. Joan had a temper and would yall at her warriors if the mis behaved.
Memorable Moments
Joan is known for comming up to the king to show him that she had the special ability to tell people things that nobody else knew aout themselfs. When she told the king somthing nobody else knew about him he wanted her to lead his army. He felt as if she was a true god. Pople believe that Joan had the special ability to do things that nobody else could. Like talk to spiits. Joan a little 15 year old girl lead thousands of men in 100 year battle revolution.
Importance
Joan is remebered because she was burned at a steak for being a girl and wearing pants. Shocking but true. She is also remebered because she is about the only little girl that lead an army of thousands of men.
