Wolf

Habitat
The wolf is found in Northern Asia and Northern America, In the Forests Mountains, and Arctic Plains (World Book Kids).
Movement
The wolves use their 4 hind legs to run away from predators and chase their preys for food.
Body Covering
The fur of a wolf keeps the cold off of them. The wolves will shed during summer so they will not get heated quickly and die
Diet
The wolf is a Carnivore, it mainly eats meat. Caribou, Deer, Elk, Moose Wolves eat almost anything (World Book Kids).
Reproduction
Female Wolves have about 1 to 11 pups in a sheltered area called a den, those pups leave the den when they are 2 months old (World Book Kids).
Adaptions
Wolves adapt to traveling in packs and being in the cold and sometimes in the hot. The wolves shed in the summer and grow the fur near winter time.

Wolves are excellent hunters with keen sight, hearing, and smelling. A wolf can see and smell a deer more than 1 mile away (1.6 kilometer). Wolves eat almost anything. Wolves alarm call to let other wolves he is in trouble is a Howl. The Red Wolf is smaller than the Gray-Wolf.
