Parent Open House March 5th
Most teachers will be available in classrooms from 3:00-6:00pm to discuss academic progress if necessary.
Main Event: Learning Showcase 6:00-8:00pm
We are planning to exhibit student work all throughout the building to showcase the great things happening at BHS. Parents are invited to walk around and visit classrooms to see learning in action.
Your student may be asked to help demonstrate work they've done this semester. The Learning Showcase will be a great way to learn more about different programs and to see student work on display.
We hope you will be an enthusiastic visitor during this latter part of the evening to support students and provide a real audience for student work. We'll be sharing more details prior to the event.
Chad Cargill Workshop March 28th
Students will spend 3 hours that morning in an ACT Prep Workshop presented by Chad Cargill. Chad has been at BHS multiple times in past years and we are excited for another opportunity to attend one of his workshops! You can learn more about him by visiting his website at http://www.chadcargill.com.
The cost of the workshop is $30 and must be paid in cash or by check (made out to BHS) no later than March 15th to Kim Stanek in the BHS Guidance Center. Spots are limited, so there is no guarantee of a refund if a student signs up for a spot and decides not to attend later.
