Summer Office Hours
June 5-6 from 7:30am-3:30pm
June 7 from 7:30am-11:30am (closing early for end of year staff celebration)
June 8-9 from 7:30am - 3:30pm
June 12-16 from 8:00am - 12:00pm
The office will be closed over the summer and will re-open Monday, August 21.
Scrip
There will be no scrip the week of May 29 due to the Memorial Day holiday. Scrip will resume normal operations the week of June 5. This will be the last week of normal scrip delivery before the summer delivery schedule goes into effect.
While scrip delivery will continue all summer, pickup locations have changed this year. The High School Office will no longer be open on Thursday afternoons, therefore, please pick up your orders at the High School Administrative Offices which will be open Tuesday-Thursday 8:00am-3:00pm. As usual, orders may not be picked up before 11:00am on Thursdays of the week you placed your order. If you have designated a parish for summer pick-up, your orders will go to the parish. Please direct any questions regarding the summer scrip program to Liz Uhlenbrauck at luhlenbrauck@smcatholicschools.org.

Liturgy for Grades 9-11
Please make sure students wear liturgy attire for Mass. Students will be dismissed immediately following Mass at 11:45am. Breakfast and lunch will not be provided that day, and buses will run at their normal time.
Liturgy Attire: Girls
• Girls may wear skirts or dresses of an appropriate length and modest style. The neckline is to be modest and appropriate for the school / church environment, and sleeves (long or short) are required. Skirts must be no shorter than the student’s fingertips when fully extended down the leg.
• Girls may choose to wear navy, black or grey dress pants with a modest, dressy top. Shirttails must be tucked in. Cargo pants are not allowed.
• Sweaters or solid colored, non-logo fleece may be worn. (SMCHS/SMCS corporate logos are allowed.)
• All other SMCHS / SMCS spirit apparel is not allowed.
• Dress shoes are required.

• Boys must wear navy, black, or grey dress pants with a coordinated button-down dress shirt with a collar and an appropriate tie. The tie must be tied and worn at the traditional collar level, and shirttails must be tucked in. Cargo pants are not allowed.
• Sweaters or solid colored, non-logo fleece may be worn over the dress shirt and tie. (SMCHS/ SMCS corporate logos are allowed.)
• All other SMCHS/SMCS spirit apparel is not allowed.
• Dress shoes are required.
2023-24 J-Term Registration
Please use the links below for the J-Term course descriptions, FAQ’s and the link to register. All registrations will close on Monday, May 29. Students not registered at that time will be assigned to open J-Term experiences.
Work Permit Changes
Parents can obtain work permits using these instructions. Payment is made directly to the department through the application, using a credit or debit card or by ACH direct withdrawal. Once the permit application process is complete, the Department mails a paper copy of the permit directly to the employer.

Class of 2024 Senior Portrait Information
As you are having your senior portraits taken this summer, please be mindful that the photo submitted for the SMCHS yearbook must meet the requirements listed below.
Portrait Requirements:
- Vertical head + shoulder pose (no hands, knees, etc.)
- Minimum of 300 dpi (resolution)
- Size of a standard wallet photo
- Yearbook attire (See below for details)
- Simple background
- No props, pets, or other people
Yearbook Attire Girls:

Summer Self-Paced Online Health & Personal Finance
Online summer school is offered to our enrolled students. The courses are online and self-paced. Meaning, students can complete the coursework at their own pace between the June 5 - August 11 window. Please click below for the description and registration of the course. Please note, students can enroll in only one course and registration closes on June 2, 2023.

WIAA Playoffs & Spring Sports Information
Baseball
The baseball team finished in 4th place in the Big East Conference.and received the 5th Seed in their half of the WIAA Sectional Bracket. The SMCHS baseball team will host Manitowoc Lutheran on Thursday, May 25. WIAA Baseball Division 3 Playoff Bracket
Golf
The golf team finished in 4th place in the Big East Conference and competed in the WIAA Regional Meet on Tuesday, May 23 at Pine Valley GC in Marathon City, WI. The team took 1st place with a score of 343 (Spencer Lynch, Cole Uhlenbrauck, Danny Griffith, Dane Anderson, Ethon Moschea). Congratulations Regional Champions! The team will play in the Sectional Meet on Tuesday, May 30 at Hunter’s Glen GC in Crivitz, WI. WIAA Golf Playoffs
Girls Soccer
The girl’s soccer team finished in 7th place in the Big East Conference and will host Sevastopol/Gibraltar High Schools on Thursday, June 1 at 7:00pm in the Regional Semi-Final. The SMCHS Girls Soccer Team received the 8th Seed in their sectional.
WIAA Girls Soccer Division 4 Playoff Bracket
Softball
The softball team finished in 3rd place in the Big East Conference and received the 2nd Seed in their half of the Sectional Bracket. The SMCHS softball team hosted Howards Grove on Tuesday, May 23 in the WIAA Regional Semi-Final and won by a score of 11-1 in six innings. The team will host Reedsville on Thursday, May 25 in the regional final. The game will start at 4:30pm. WIAA Softball Division 4 Playoff Bracket
Boys Tennis
The boy’s tennis team finished in 1st place in conference play. Congratulations Conference Champions! The SMCHS Boys Tennis team competed in the WIAA Sub-Sectional at SMCHS on Monday, May 22. Congratulations to the following boys tennis athletes for advancing to Sectionals: Wesley Auth, Nicholas Miller, Grant Bergstrom, Harry Bergstrom, Ethan Tines and George Staner. Track and Field
The SMCHS Track and Field team competed in the WIAA Regional Meet at SMCHS on Monday, May 22. Congratulations to the following Track and Field athletes for advancing to Sectionals: Alex (Joel) Alvarez, Nolie Anderson, Ethan Auer, Madeline Breen, Alejandra Cunillera Fernandez, Addison Dinka, Grace Dominaski, Dylan Dwyer, AJ Groppel, Haley Gustafson, Harry Higgins, Kail Koeper, Norah Lee, Maria Marti, Rylee McClone, Geneva Miller, Charlie Nackers, Ashton Post, Lauren Ripley, Gabby Ruback, Nathan Seiske, Ben Schoeni, Noah Valentine and Greg Wheeler. Ticketing Information
WIAA sets the ticketing policy for WIAA playoffs. All Regional Tickets are $6 and all Sectional Tickets are $7– Under 6 Year is $1.

SMC Policy on Practices and Competitions with Absences
To participate in co-curricular practices, rehearsals, meetings, etc., students must be in school by 11:00am and stay through the end of the day on the day of the scheduled activity, unless pre-arranged and/or excused by the administration. To participate in co-curricular competitions such as performances and games, students must be in school the entire school day. Students who are too ill to attend classes are too ill to perform in co-curricular activities. Exceptions include serious illness or death in the immediate family, medical or dental appointments that cannot otherwise be avoided; and special situations for which prior approval has been obtained from the administration.
2023-24 SMCS Registration
Current SMCS families do not need to do anything to register for the 2023-2024 school year. If your family does not intend to return to St. Mary Catholic Schools for the 2023-2024 school year, please contact Chris Decker.

Bellin College Summer Camps
Bellin College is offering two, two-day camps for Nursing and one for Allied Health. Students will spend time at Bellin College participating in different hands-on simulations related to the area of healthcare that interests them, and visit their local hospitals to shadow healthcare workers on specific floors. Applications close two weeks prior to each camp.
ACT Test Prep
ACT Test Prep is a 4-night boot camp to prepare students for the ACT Test. Classes will be offered prior to the June 10 National Test Date. More information can be found here.
