Learning Through Teaching - UNH Professional Development
Through grant funding we have an exciting professional development offering from UNH available to teachers. UNH Learning Through Teaching site.
Learning Through Teaching is a unique form of professional development that brings UNH into your school where you will earn graduate credits alongside your colleagues which will be paid for by the district. The course requires monthly after school classes that will run for 90 minutes at your school. In this course you will study the components of teaching reading and writing in a workshop model.
Dates will run throughout the year starting in October. We plan to run an elementary and a secondary cohort.
At this time, we have a waitlist for the course; however, if you are interested, please let me know and I will place your name on the waitlist.

Please complete your trainings by October 15th and complete the professional development forms to document your learning.
Frontline for Professional Growth
Frontline for Professional Growth is an extension of Frontline for Absence Management, so you're already familiar with the site! The Professional Growth will use the MVRSD forms you already use, but they will be completed on the website. You will be able to access, track, and manage your current and past professional development.
At the October 8th early release day, we will provide training on the site, as well as time in your building to upload your goals and ask questions.
