October Assembly

Our October assembly was a focus on Habit 2, Begin with the End in Mind. When we begin with the end in mind, we set a goal and have a plan. We know that we are important and the things we do are important. We had two fantastic performances. Mrs. Roth’s 1st grade wrote and performed a chant that they created for Habit 2. Mrs. Carpenter’s Kindergarten class sang two songs. The one song was about Habit 2. The other song they sang was about Habit 1, Being Proactive. When we are proactive, we do good things even if no one is watching. We show that we are in charge of our actions, attitudes, and moods.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent Teacher Conferences have been scheduled. Your child should have brought home a note with your conference time and date. Conferences are November 1st and 2nd. Each fifteen minute conference will include a time for us to discuss your studentʼs strengths and challenges, highlight growth that has occurred over the course of the quarter, and make goals for the remainder of the year.
