Te Mahuri Alert
Te Mahuri Hauora Day - Wednesday 7 July 2021
Dear Whānau
Tomorrow is our 'Te Mahuri Hauora Day' - a special day to end the terms unit of inquiry on Health and Wellbeing.
Here are some things you need to know:
Learners are to come to school in their PE gear and sneakers.
In the morning the children will be working on a rotation of Hauora related activities with the Te Mahuri teachers.
There will be a shared lunch of healthy food. Please send along a contribution to this lunch. Some ideas are:
- Fruit - apples, oranges or bananas. (We can peel and slice them at school to keep them fresh)
- Vegetables sticks - celery or carrot
- Humus
- Chick peas
- Sultanas or raisins
- Shredded chicken
- Avocado
- Pita Bread
Any healthy choice food items would be appreciated. Please remember we are a nut free school.
The children will be working with PE students from St Peter's College on some fun fitness rotations in the afternoon. It will be a fun day for all the children.
Thank you for your support.
