A Word from Principal Lindsay
Hi Rambler Families
Thank you to everyone who attended our Back to School Night. It was wonderful to share a meal with you all and reconnect before school begins. A special thank you to the Cascade Fire Department for keeping us cool and adding to the fun.
It is hard to believe that it is the first day of school tomorrow. Our staff is eager to welcome back our students. For some of our families this is your first "First" and for some of you it is the last "First". Our staff at Cascade schools feels fortunate to be a part of these first and all the first in between.
Please continue reading for additional information. Reach out with any questions.

PreSchool Programming Q&A:
Can my preschool student ride the bus?
- No, a preschool aged student should be harnessed into a seat because of their height and weight, Cascade currently doesn't have the capacity to do this with the current fleet of buses. Also, we have found that most of the students in this age group do not have the maturity necessary to assure that the bus ride is safe and free from distractions.
How do I drop my PreK student off at school?
AM - Please feel free to walk your student into the school through entrance #2. Class starts at 8:00am
PM - Please feel free to bring your student to Entrance #2 and wait there for the teacher. Mrs. Codi Thurston will arrive there not later than 12:10pm to take the kids to class. For the first week of school you may walk with your student to the classroom, starting Monday, 8/28/23 we ask that parents wait with their child in the hallway just inside Entrance #2. PM Class starts at 12:15pm.
What do I do if my child is going to be absent from school?
- Call the school office (208)630-6057 and let us know. Or, email dorothy@cascadeschools.org
What do I do if I need to pick up my child early or if I am late to school?
Please go to the school office (inside Entrance #1) and check your student in/out for the day.
Thank you Army National Guard and ASB
A special thank you to the Army National Guard, SSG Kolten Conant, and our ASB officers Grant Whipple, Tyler Thurston, and Brenden Weirum for setting up the fun at our Back to School Night.

2023-24 Athletics Schedules
Most of our Fall Athletics calendars are posted on the athletics calendar on our website - click here to go to our athletics calendar.
As our seasons unfold, coordinating events and managing changes can be difficult. Then, communicating the changes to our loyal fans is even more difficult. On the webpage linked above, if you click on the "Get Alerts" button, you can sign up to be notified of any schedule changes and you can even embed specific athletic calendars to your own personal calendar.
