Honoring the Person

Your loved ones’ life was made special by the unique individual who they were. As their family member and friends, no one understands this better than you. This is why, at Eternal Rest Funeral Home, we encourage you to share about your loved one during our Memory Service. We openly celebrate the virtues of your loved ones’ life, including Military Service, through gravesite Military respect rituals. We also provide family Memory Books in which we encourage you to record your fondest memories of this individual, and celebrate the meaning of their life on this earth.

This is why, here at Eternal Rest Funeral Home, we focus our Memory Services on the memories of the family, because we understand that this is the heart of your family.

Honoring your loved ones’ customs and beliefs

We encourage family and friends to commemorate the beliefs of your loved one. The roots of hope run deep, and this is why we want to honor the source of hope which your loved one leaned upon in life. As family and friends, you knew best the source of hope that your loved one leaned upon for anticipation of their source of eternal rest, and all religions; Christian, Buddhist, Islamic, Jewish, and more. We also strive to honor individual backgrounds and cultures, and encourage these to be celebrated during the Memory Service of your loved one.

Honoring your loved ones’ customs and beliefs, Continued

No matter your loved ones religious or cultural beliefs, we recognize the common need for you, as family and friends, to be supported in this difficult time. This is the universal language of grief. As you work through this journey following the passing of your loved one, we would like to offer resources to help you to understand this process of grief in a culturally sensitive way (Understanding Cultural Issues in Death). A great resource for culturally respectful grief management is:

Honor your loved one with a meaningful Memory Service

At Eternal Rest, our focus is on helping you create a personalized memory service based upon the resources that are available to you. In order to assist you with this process, we offer a variety of customized packages and price points, to help you as family to work through this difficult time without added stress or unheeded financial strain. Our packages each focus on the individual and your precious memories together, and each offer unique ways to celebrate the life which your loved one lived.

We recognize that the gifts of a family are more important than only finances.
