What are we learning this week?
Writing: We are writing a nonfiction summary based on what we are doing in reading. We are also working on verb tenses and plural nouns.
Math: Unit 3 reviews place value, multi-digit addition/subtractions, and problem solving. Students will be to the idea of rounding 2-and 3- digit numbers to the nearest ten and the nearest hundred.
Science: We will continue to delve deeper into our science unit, Earth Interactions. Students will identify, describe and compare different landforms and physical environments. Last week we built landforms and made a map grid of our creations. This week we will discuss how rapid changes, such as Earthquakes, can change and effect the landforms.
Math: Rounding to 10's
