FAFSA
It is too late for TN Promise money, but not too late for Federal Pell Grant, Federal Loans or HOPE and other scholarship money. You will do the 2019-2020 application for Fall of 2019 at a TCAT, community college or 4 year college or university.
What do I need to have when I do this?
2017 W-2 and tax forms for student (if you filed) and parent.
Those who completed FAFSA
Log in to your FAFSA with your FSA ID and click "View or Print Student Aid report" to check your school selection order. The federal ID number for your school will be on there. You can Google your school with the word "Federal ID" to check that it is the correct one. If it is not the right one, go to the bottom and click "Previous". On that screen, click "Make FAFSA correction". Go to the school selection tab and make sure your 1st choice is listed 1st on your FAFSA. Sign if required, then submit the change. This is so your grant and/or scholarship money will go to the correct school. If not, it could cause big problems for you.
