Parent Teacher Conferences

"Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents with high expectations." ~ Bob Beauprez

Thank you so much for the time you have taken to communicate with parents the progress of their children. You dedicated many extra hours to accommodate a variety of different schedules. We appreciate all that you do each and every day. Enjoy your weekend.

Welcome to Irene Adesina!

Irene is joining us from Sweetwater Middle School. She will be our new cafeteria assistant manager.

Local Heros

Congratulations to Melanie Ford for, once again, helping Parsons ES to earn the Governor's Shape Honor Roll.

Jennifer Pegues was able to purchase chair pockets for her classroom by raising funds through the website.

Thank you to all of our teachers and staff for donating delicious soups, salads and deserts to raise funds for the PES Relay for Life team.

PES ~ September/October Half Day Planning

Half Day planning will begin on Wednesday, September 30, 2015. Attached is a link to the document with substitute assignments.

Sunshine board

We have added a "Sunshine" board to our front office hall. Feel free to use the board to post any good news you would like to share (graduations, thank you notes, birth/wedding announcements, etc...).

Leave during the school day

If you need to leave during the school day, please be sure to sign out. This should be used for a brief period of time (30 min. maximum). Before signing out, please inform an administrator that you will be leaving the building.

On Tuesday, November 3, 2015 Gwinnett County voters will be asked to extend the special purpose local option sales tax for education (E-SPLOST). Over the years, the E-SPLOST has funded educational capital projects that have benefited all students in Gwinnett County. It is important for Gwinnett citizens to be aware of the E-SPLOST and the district's plan for meeting the classroom and technology needs of Gwinnett's growing student enrollment. If you would like more information about E-SPLOST please go to the following link: or

PTA Cleanup day

Help make Parsons Clean and Beautiful! We'll be working on the peace and pollinator gardens Saturday, September 26th. Come help anytime between 8:00am-12:00pm! Gardening tools and gloves are welcome!

We would like to begin our recycling program here at the school again. Please let me know if you would be willing to support a team of students with this initiative.
