If you are in need of another tutorial for uploading documents, please let me know. I will be happy to assist in any way I can. Thank you to those teachers who have been uploading work samples and documenting interventions in the student folders.
Shout outs to Ms. Montooth, Ms. Ward, Dr. Van de Water, Ms. Knight, Ms. Ross, Mr. Boone, Ms. Mills, Ms. Steffen, Ms. Griffith and Mr. Patel for uploading some samples and documenting behaviors and interventions!
Thank you in advance to everyone else. I know you all will find the time in your busy schedules to get these samples uploaded. Have a great day! You're all awesome!!

The International Skills Diploma Seal is awarded to graduating high school students who complete an international education curriculum and engage in extracurricular activities and experiences that foster the achievement of global competencies. It is a signal to employers and higher education institutions that a student is prepared to participate in the global economy.
Druid Hills High School is the only school in DeKalb County and one of eighty schools statewide eligible to award a diploma seal to students meeting the criteria:
- At least three credits in the same world language and/or ESOL
- At least four credits in courses determined to have an international focus, such as international economics, world/non-US history, world geography, etc.
- At least four extracurricular activities and experiences with global themes and/or in global contexts (e.g., exchange programs, international and language clubs, travel abroad)
- Twenty hours of community service involving a global/cross-cultural public service project
- Capstone presentation on the knowledge gained in the courses and activities listed above
Interested students should complete and return the ISDS application to the Main Office by Friday, April 14. I am also planning to hold a brief (15 min) interest session Monday, April 10 at 8:30am in the Theatre (passes will be in malboxes on Friday). Please direct students to contact me with any questions.

Books for Africa Drive - Ms. Bracewell
The National English Honor Society students will be conducting a Books for Africa drive the week of April 17-21. Please let me know if you're willing to have a student come into your class during the week of April 10 to explain the drive, what's needed, and leave a collection box in your classroom. I'me raised the money to ship 2,000 pounds of books, so we're really hoping to have a successful collection!
*Students donating books will be asked to put a slip of paper with their name on it into each book. At the end of the drive, one name will be drawn and that student will get a $50 gift card to Chick Fil A!

And congratulation also goes out to Aujenay Easley, who played her best match. She was the only golfer in her group that qualified to continue playing the remaining 9 holes.
