Effective for the 2015-2016 school year, students will have two ways to take the ACT test:
Required and provided by the Arkansas Department of Education through the local high school on March 1, 2016 - 11th grade only!
Optional and provided by the American College Testing through a student/parent registration on national test dates throughout the year.
Both ways of taking the ACT test will provide students with a valid, reportable score for colleges and scholarships.
On March 1, 2016 all Arkansas students enrolled in 11th grade will have the opportunity to take a FREE ACT test through the assessment requirements from the Arkansas Department of Education. The school will register the students and administer the test at school during the day.
Students may take the ACT during the year on a national testing date by completing the application and paying the fee. These testing dates and registration are the responsibility of the student and parent.
