January Flying By...
- Thank you - January has been a busy and exciting month so far. We began the new year without the immersion students and staff, had a visit from Hugo the Charlotte Hornet mascot, received report cards and practiced a lock down. I was extremely proud of the student participation while Hugo was here as well as the seriousness taken during the lock down drill.
- PBIS - Inclusion - We have also begun the journey with our 3rd quarter for PBIS. These next weeks were are working on the idea of INCLUSION. We want everyone to be included in what we do and we want everyone to give everyone a chance to share or play. Please help us at home by practicing inclusion.
- CLUBS - Monday, February 4 Westminster Academy of the Arts will begin hosting clubs on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Forms are due back by Tuesday. Each club has a limited number of students who can participate. Parents will be notified Wednesday if their child will be able to attend any of the clubs. If your child is selected, please be sure to complete the form and return it by the first day they attend the club.
