SOME IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
* Please be sure to complete the weekly lunch plan form (see link up above, and monthly menu down below).
* Please remind your students of our communal obligation to keep one another safe and well: this includes wearing a mask that covers mouth and nose, frequent hand-washing, and maintaining distance with others except when necessary for cooperative learning.
* Students should bring at least one extra mask to school each day in case their masks gets wet or soiled.
From the ART CORNER
Happy back to school! We’ve produced some amazing Art these past two weeks! In the near future the children will learn some upcycling projects and the value of reducing, reusing, and recycling. To do this we are in need of clean metal cans, plastic jugs, paper towel rolls, etc.
Some children expressed the desire to do Pixel Art this year. Usually this is done on the computer, this year we are switching it up and making the art using bottle caps! Unfortunately we have none…. so we are also looking for clean bottle caps to be able to do this project.
Thank You,
Ms. C

FIRE SAFETY WEEK 2021
In the meantime, you may want to consider how you can capitalize on the conversations happening at school in order to discuss fire prevention and fire safety AT HOME with your family. Do your children know what to do in case of a fire in your home? Do they know the rallying point where they will gather with you and other family members if you need to evacuate your home? Create a family plan so everyone in your family knows how to respond in the unlikely, unwelcome event of a fire in your home. Here is a resource you can use to guide your planning -- CLICK HERE.
