We usually meet around 8 am on Saturdays.
Proposed Vegetable Garden Lead Team
We are grateful and blessed by your willingness to invest your time and talent in our garden! Based on your responses, we were able to fill each position. All individuals are running un-opposed. Please review the slated positions below and respond to this email by 11/19 if you have concerns. If there are no concerns, we will confirm and congratulate the new lead team in the 11/20 newsletter.

Note: The position of Saturday coordinators has been removed, it will be a group effort among those who are able to attend Saturday gardening events.

Basil Salt
Recipe submitted by Mary Baxter.
To Dry basil
- Place basil on parchment paper
- Put basil in the oven.
- Turn the oven light on.
- DO NOT HEAT THE OVEN
- Basil should be dry in about 24 hours.
- Remove the stems and stalk. Use on the leaves.
Basil Salt
Dried Basil Leaves – 1 cup
Coarse Kosher Salt - ¼ cup
Grind together in a small coffee grinder.
Store in small jar with a lid in pantry
Shelf life about two months.
You can double or triple the measurements or add change measurements to your preference.
This makes a nice gift. Put in a small jelly jar and decorate top. Be sure to write date and shelf life if you are giving as a gift.
