BPlus and Block Survey
As I mentioned at the August Meeting, I would like to gather a little information about BPlus access and Block Rotations. I have created two forms to capture this information. Please fill out the form for your grade level by August 30th so I can share the information with Pam.
Month By Month Tasks
Does it feel like you are forgetting something? The Library Leadership Team created an Alief Libraries Year At A Glance. Take some time to print it out and make sure you are on track each and every month.
Monthly Reports...
The Monthly Reports are updated and ready to go. I have only made slight modifications from last year. We now can pull individual campus database usage reports for all the TexQuest Databases. (Well practice in September.)
The Monthly Reports are all in the Alief Librarians One Note> Monthly Reports> 2019-2020 Monthly Reports.
Fall LIS Professional Development
There are eight Fall LIS Professional Development sessions. The sessions are all linked in Eduphoria and are scheduled for 9/14, 9/28, 10/19, and 10/26.
All sessions count for Alief ISD Professional Development credit for the 2019-2020 PD year.
Library Events (Extended Hours, Book Fairs, Author Visits, and more)
Please send me an e-mail with your dates/times for any and all library events so they can be added to the Library Department Calendar. These events include, but are not limited to: extended hours, book fairs, author visits.
HPL Learning Link Resources in Back to School Communicator
The HPL Learning Link is featured in the Back to School Alief Communicator. You may receive questions about the resources. There are training guides in Schoology>Resources>Digital Resources>HPL Learning Link Resources
There will be additional HPL Learning Link Professional Development Sessions this fall. Check out the links in Eduphoria.
