GO Buses
Did you know that GHS offers free after school bus transportation every Tuesday at 500pm called the Grizzly Opportunity Bus or "GO Bus" for short? This will allow students to stay after school for tutorials, club meetings, and detention, yet still get a ride home on a bus. You may view the schedule at http://ghs.leanderisd.org/ to see where the closest bus stop is for your child since the stops are slightly different than the usual bus stops. Students wishing to take advantage of the GO Bus must report to their destination by 3:50 and remain in that location until 4:50 at which time a GO Bus pass will be issued. Students must have a GO Bus pass to board the 5:00 bus.
Please take advantage of this opportunity to get additional academic support from the teachers.

Shout Outs!
The Grizzly football team held a car wash on Friday October 28 to benefit the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Austin. Over 20 faculty vehicles were washed and the team was able to raise over $500.
The Grizzly JV football team assured themselves a winning record for the season with a 42-16 victory over Liberty Hill last Thursday. Our final game will be TONIGHT against the Lanier varsity on Thursday, November 3 at Gupton Stadium. Come help us secure win #6 and #paintGuptonOrange by wearing your ORANGE Grizzly Gear!
The Grizzly Band competed this weekend in the largest (and hardest) 4A Area contest in the state. 26 bands competed in hopes of being in the top 5 to advance to State Marching Contest. Glenn Students performed exceptionally well, receiving great feedback from adjudicators, other band directors, and parents from all over. While we did not advance to state, we definitely left a message that we are a strong force to be reckoned with in the future. Here is a video from their final performance of Simply Orange. This is our tribute to the opening of Glenn, the Paint Leander Orange, and to the future. Enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0FYkK1fpac
Speech & Debate
The Glenn Speech and Debate Team is traveling to Cedar Ridge High School in Round Rock for their first debate tournament Friday, November 11 and Saturday, November 12. They have been researching and writing their first cases and are ready to argue! Debate by nature is public so come see what we're all about (http://www.joyoftournaments.com/tx/cedar/info.asp) or contact Mrs. Thayer.
