Who, What, When, Where & Why?
You might be thinking, why would I want to read this? Well, I'm here to give give you an idea of what the book is about. This book is about Danny Shine,, a 7th grader at Gerald Ford Middle School. Danny tries to get his name off of the 'Loser List' in the girls washroom. He does this with the help of Axl, the schools bully. Danny and Axl become friends after Danny comments on his tattoo. This story takes place at Gerald Ford Middle School. Danny is trying to get his name off of the 'Loser List' because he doesn't want to be known as a geek, unlike his friend Jasper, who frankly couldn't care less.
Review of "The Loser List"
My Opinion
In my opinion, The Loser List is a great book for kids 9 - 11. I think this because the book ,at the end, teaches you to just accept yourself as who you are and embrace it. Don't hide it from everyone and don't change for others. I think this is good for kids of 9 - 11 years of age because at this age level, and even younger AND higher, kids are afraid of getting judged. I think this book is a 8/10. I would read this book again.
