What You Should Know About Apple’s AirDrop Feature

There’s a new trend across the US where individuals are making false threats to schools using the AirDrop feature on Apple mobile devices. While Belton ISD has responded to isolated incidents of these threats, we are asking parents to ensure that your students’ mobile devices are reviewed and either has the AirDrop feature turned off or set to receive AirDrop messages only from their contact list. Make Life Easier: Submit Absence Notes Online

Did you know you can submit absence notes online? An absence note is required each time a student is absent from school. The note and any required documentation must be submitted within three school days of the student’s return to school. Learn more about attendance requirements at www.bisd.net/attendance.
