Stress is your body's way of responding to any kind of demand or threat. When you feel threatened, your nervous system responds by releasing a flood of stress hormones, including adrenaline and cortisol, which rouse the body for emergency action.

But if you cant really handle your stress it can become long-term and it can seriously cause problems with school, your job, family life, and your health. More than half of Americans say they fight with friends and loved ones because of stress, and more than 70% say they experience real physical and emotional symptoms from it.

Some people just want to have some quiet peaceful relaxing time. By going to rivers or lakes to swim or camp or to go in the woods to see nature and take a break from everything.
