Information for Future Health Professionals

Grade update for February 4 , 2014 submissions

All timely submissions have been graded and posted to the grade book. Please take a moment to review grades with your student.

Students are encouraged to submit an "Open Mic Request" by clicking the button below or by referencing the "Best Foot Forward" News Item.

Please encourage students to review the assigned rubric prior to submitting projects. A number of assignments required the student to complete presentations in an oral format as though providing patient education or presenting to a group of health professionals. Some students have submitted wonderful videos or voice imbedded powerpoint presentations. Screencasting is a method that incorporates both audio and visual learning. Take a look at the link listed below.

Virtual Office Hour

Please join me on Tuesday evenings between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM to explore any questions you may have regarding assignments or to receive additional information to support the learning environment.

Mrs. Wheeler is a native of South West Georgia and graduate of Valdosta State University. She possesses a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Health Administration.
