A Good Reminder - We Can All Help Teach Students On Campus
Juan, a member of the CUSD Maintenance Crew, took time to read to this TK Group and they loved it! It's a good reminder that students are always learning from our actions, and Juan set an amazing example!
"We love our maintenance crew… we love Juan!
What a great thing to see him reading to the children in this blended TK room- they were so into it- on the second week (of school) no less. Can you tell the students with IEPs from those without? I can’t."

Citrus Elementary Impacts Enloe Patients
"I'd like to share something that Citrus has done to make our community a kinder place...Our 4th and 5th grade students have participated in a year of mindfulness. As one of our final projects, the students learned how it can improve their own sense of well-being to do kind things for others...so they designed and created 80 craft kits for the Enloe Hospital "Caring for You Cart". This cart is rolled throughout the hospital by volunteers, as a way to cheer up patients and their visiting family and friends. Our compassionate students hope that the recipients of these craft kits feel the support of our community and the love that was put into each kit!"
