Cannon Elementary News!
Cannon Elementary Employee of the Month
Our November/December Employee of the Month is a very dedicated employee. She is eager to help students with homework and is always willing to go the extra mile. Her passion is to help all students to gain confidence in themselves. She offers encouragement to everyone and assists with a number of ACE duties even when ACE is over. Cannon Elementary Student of the Month
The November Student of the Month is Jasmine McShannon. This is her second year to be in ACE. Jasmine has shown significant improvement this year through her active participation in the different groups. She particularly likes the singing and dancing activities. Butler Intermediate School News!
ACE is wrapping up the 2016 Fall Semester with a Bang!
Butler ACE has an average daily attendance of more than 160 students!
- We are continuing to implement Mindworks curriculum in our groups.
- Fourth grade has a building club that was developed due to student/faculty demand. Building Club is utilizing Lego BrickLab and computer stations to find/create architectural designs.
- Two of our fifth grade groups are currently in an acrylic painting rotation.
We are continuing to add to our academic offerings.
- By January, we will have STAAR remediation in our regular programming.
- We currently have a 4th grade ELAR group that meets twice per week, on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Butler Intermediate School Employee of the Month: Lisa Birdsong
Butler Intermediate School Student of the Month-Nathan Conaghan
Nathan is a fifth grade student at Butler Intermediate and has been enrolled in ACE since the beginning of the school year. Nathan is responsible, exercises self-control and is a role model for the students at Butler. Joyce Brister is the Thompson Middle School Employee of the Month. She consistently goes above and beyond the already high staff expectations. She is reliable and has the knack for saying just the right thing at the right time. -Molly Letz, TMS Ace Site Coordinator

Ford High School Employee of the Month
Marsha Roton is the Ford High School ACE employee of the month for November. Mrs. Roton has worked in the ACE program from the beginning of ACE and has worked more hours than any other ACE employee at the high school. She understands and helps students with their homework, often encouraging them to complete an assignment when they don't really want to. She also teaches the art class as well as a Wii game class. Students like Mrs. Roton and enjoy her classes, especially art, where they are working on projects that will allow them to compete in the county fair.. -Tawanna Pumphrey, FHS ACE Site Coordinator
