News & Information for Tiger Families

Letter from the Principal

Tiger Families,

ARE YOU READY!?! WE ARE!

Faculty and staff members have been hard at work, getting things ready for the 2023-2024 school year and the wait is finally over! We are so excited to see all of you on Tuesday, August 15th, our FIRST DAY of SCHOOL. Just a reminder: On August 15th we dismiss at 11:30 am, there will be no lunches served or after school care.

WELCOME BACK

Packets with student paperwork must be returned to the office no later than August 17th.

If you paid for tuition, registration, or tech fees in the office, but it isn't reflecting the payment in FACTS, please be patient as we are updating FACTS daily. If your account still does not reflect the payment by August 25th, please contact the office.

Parents who tried to log into FACTS to prepay lunch accounts, we apologize for the inconvenience. The system has been fixed and is now working!

This summer Mr. Day has been working around the clock to improve St. Teresa School. We could not have completed all the projects without him. He has been essential in our school improvement plan, and we are extremely grateful for his dedication and generosity!

If you haven't been up to St. Teresa School yet, you are missing out! We are so thankful and grateful to our families who participated in Spruce up the School Day. A HUGE SHOUT OUT to the Day Family, Mahr Family, Kraus Family, Lehde Family, Lueckenhoff Family, Bullock Family, Hartin Family, Maxwell Family, and J. Neville Family. Thank you for making our school a great place to be!

As always, we thank you for sharing your student with us. We appreciate your trust, support, and partnership.

Sincerely,

Nicole Green

Principal

EMPOWER - SAVE OUR SCHOLARSHIP

Did you know that EMPOWER's Sunset is coming up? Did you know that you can help fight to keep EMPOWER Scholarships for St. Teresa Students?

There will be a Parent Training on August 23rd at 6pm Althoff High School.

We need parents to call/talk to Rep Hoffman and Sen Belt and conduct office visits.

Parents will be trained on how we got here, what they will hear from the legislators, and how to respond. The more parents that participate the more the work is spread around.

This is the LAST opportunity we have to save our St. Teresa families scholarships!

PLEASE WELCOME OUR NEW READING TEACHER

St. Teresa School is pleased to Welcome Mrs. Jodi Mertens. Mrs. Mertens comes to St. Teresa School with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in Reading and Intervention. We are excited to have her join our family!

Parish Picnic

St. Teresa Parish Picnic is right around the corner! In order to prepare for the church picnic, we ask that parents consider bringing their child to the school office entry area around 8:15am on August 25th to help set up. Kevin or Ginny Bouse (618-410-1047/618-973-4378) will be at St. Teresa School to supervise and guide students on tasks that need to be completed. Students are normally finished around 11:15am and go to Cutters for lunch. Please remind your children that working at the CHURCH PICNIC is a GREAT WAY TO GET VOLUNTEER HOURS. Please reach out to Kevin or Ginny Bouse for needed shifts. Teardown is Sunday, August 27th at 8am and usually takes 2 hours.

Belleville Parks & Rec-program

A new school year is exciting for kiddos, but for some as you know, it can be a bit stressful as well. That’s why we want to offer our Parks programs as a way to relieve stress & have fun while hopefully making new friends, and maybe learn a new skill or two!
