The Linne Roar

Parent/School Edition

Volume I, Issue 4 - December 2019

Principally Speaking

December is upon us and with it comes all the excitement that the season brings. It is a busy time filled with the hustle and bustle of shopping, friends and family near and far. I want to wish everyone a wonderful holiday season. Whatever your beliefs or traditions are, I hope that you are able to spend some quality time with your loved ones.

Life at school is also very busy, several grades went to see “The Nutcracker” at the Auditorium Theater and we are looking forward to the winter assemblies that start today and into next week. We are also working together to provide some needed food to the less fortunate through our work with Western Catholic Charities. I hope you find it in your heart to donate a non-perishable item by 12/18. Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff, students and parents for their outstanding support. Our school has a sense of family and it is at this time of year when the closeness of friendship shines in our students` faces. I am certain that the new-year will bring new learning experiences, new challenges and new milestones. I look forward to what lies ahead in 2020. Have a great holiday season and a prosperous new year! Renee Mackin, Principal

NWEA Middle of Year testing window is now open and the ACCESS testing window will open soon. Most students will be testing after the winter break.
