Grade Calculation Times
You may start submitting final grades May 24th.
Each day, the calculator will run at the following times:
Lebanon Trail High School: 12:30 PM, 4:00 PM, and 7:30 PM
CTE Center: 12:00 PM, 3:30 PM, 7:00 PM
Only grades entered before the deadline will be run in the calculation.
This is to check your SEM (and FIN averages if you have them)
Tool of the Week- Pear Deck
I saw a demo of Pear Deck this weekend and I think it is something you can all use in your classrooms. Students can participate on Chromebooks or tablets (BYOD friendly) and it is really useful for formative assessment. It is similar to Nearpod except that it works closely with Google. So when your students finish a session, they can get a summary of all their responses (study guide for SpEd kiddos?) automatically sent to their Google drive with an email telling them it is there. You can import existing presentations to use with Nearpod and the tools seem pretty intuitive. Check out the short demo video below to see how it works.

He along with Adam Welcome (@welcome) have started the Kids Deserve It movement (@KidsDeserveIt) and you should definitely follow them for some good positive feels on your Twitter feed.
They have a podcast and you can find episodes here and if you ever need something uplifting to post on social media, just visit this page.
