Project Niñez
Shout Out! to Thorne, a senior in the IB Program at Fike HS, for his incredible service project. In his own words - "Project Niñez is my attempt to capture the essence of Belize, a country that has impacted me profoundly during my visits over the past five years. The project centers around a series of images taken in Belize as I spent some time over the past summer exploring the concept of boyhood (niñez) in the town. All proceeds from the images will be donated to the Crossing, a business community in Hope Creek, Belize. The Crossing offers woodworking, sewing and metalwork shops as well as a computer lab, cafe and tutoring center." To view the prints, click here.
