College Aid Pro: As previewed at our Senior College Planning night in September, this tool will give you early estimates of financial aid - both need and merit - specific to your student at the vast majority of colleges and universities to which our students apply.
We are very excited to announce our partnership with College Aid Pro (CAP). We believe CAP is the perfect compliment to Naviance. Although Naviance is great for all of our college admission needs, they do not offer enough value on how to reduce the cost of college, financial aid, or scholarships.
This is where CAP comes in. As part of our partnership all Nashoba families will be entitled to a free account on this platform. Here is a 1-minute overview outlining what you can expect from this platform.
Please mark your calendars for October 12th @12ET to get a walk-through of CAP and live Q & A with their experts. Even if you cannot attend live please register in order to receive a recording of the event and slide deck.
Step 1: Register for the info-session here.
Step 2: Prior to the event please create your CAP account here.
(Be sure to select the middle option "Scholar" to use the coupon)
Be on the lookout for periodic surveys from Guidance - we will want to know if our parent community found this tool useful in the college process.
NRHS has recently opened as a test location for the November 5th SAT. The capacity is 125 students and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you are a senior who has not finished testing (or would like to re-test), and would like to test at Nashoba, please sign up/login to the College Board ASAP (www.collegeboard.org). If this location fills, please check other locations on the College Board website.
Please note that we do not have logins and passwords for your College Board account.
In general, SAT results are released approximately three weeks after the test. Please consider this as to how it affects your college deadline dates.
